Rheem vitreous enamel: 10 year cylinder on units made after June 2018, 5 year cylinder labour, 12 month parts. Cylinders made before that date are 7 / 3 / 1.

Commercial installs get less. The figures above are for a single family home. Fitted anywhere else — a rental block, a motel, a salon — the manufacturer's cover drops to 3 year cylinder, 1 year cylinder labour, 1 year parts.

The labour cover depends on who installs it. Manufacturers only honour it when the cylinder was connected by a licensed plumber. We are one — so if we fit it, the full warranty stands.

For an older home still running hot water from a header tank. Enamel carries a sacrificial anode that needs checking periodically.
