Send us a photo. We will tell you what fits.
Most people have no idea what cylinder they have, and there is no reason they should. There is a data plate on the side of yours with everything we need on it — capacity, pressure, and roughly how old it is. One photo is usually enough.
Send it however suits you
We will come back with which cylinder replaces yours and what it costs. No obligation, and we will say so if the cheaper option is the right one.
What to photograph
- 1
The data plate
A sticker or metal plate on the side of the cylinder. It lists the capacity in litres, the pressure rating, and the manufacture date. This is the important one.
- 2
The whole cylinder
Stand back and get all of it, including the pipework at the top. It tells us how it is connected and whether it will come out easily.
- 3
The space around it
How tight is the cupboard? Is there a door it has to fit through? This is where most surprises come from.
Cannot get to it?
If the cylinder is in the roof space or somewhere awkward, do not climb up for a photo. Call us and we will work it out from the age of the house and where the hot water comes out.
