Rinnai mains pressure stainless steel: 10 year cylinder, 5 year cylinder labour, 1 year on other parts and their labour.

Commercial installs get less. The figures above are for a single family home. Fitted anywhere else — a rental block, a motel, a salon — the manufacturer's cover drops to 5 year cylinder, 1 year labour, 1 year parts. Rinnai also require the cylinder to be sized to their written guidelines.

The labour cover depends on who installs it. Manufacturers only honour it when the cylinder was connected by a licensed plumber. We are one — so if we fit it, the full warranty stands.

Duplex stainless steel rather than enamel. It costs more and carries a ten year cylinder warranty instead of seven, with no anode to service. Rinnai also rate this range as heat pump and solar capable, so it is the one to fit if a heat pump head might go on later.
